The Miami Hurricanes had a impressive 2009 season, but it ended on a bad note. Miami was beat by a lower-ranked Wisconsin team in their bowl game to end the season. coach Randy Shannon was adamant when asked Monday what his one overall goal is for spring practice. He said "Get tougher'' . "It's going to be physical football this spring. I want to see how our mind-set is. I want to see us take the next step in improving in a lot of different areas. . . . We're really going to go after it.'' Jacoby Harris, the Dolphins quarterback was injured the last game of the season. He is still recovering, and so far is only doing running plays. The Hurricanes are looking forward to a great 2010 season and hopefully a chance to compete for a national championship. I watched many of the Hurricanes games last year, and I was very impressed, they had great young talent, and a star quarterback in Jacoby Harris. Their schedule was arguably the hardest in all of college football, and they did great against such hard opponents, winning many upsets. I think if their able to execute and stay healthy they should have a shot at a national championship.
