Chad Pennington came in as the new Dolphin quarterback in the 2008-2009 season with very low expectations for the time after a 1-15 season the year before. He had been dropped by the Jets after the signing of Brett Favre, and the Dolphins picked him up in dire needs of a quarterback. He flourished in Miami and won the fans over after a surprising season leading the team to a 11-5 season and making the playoffs. He came into the 2009-2010 with high expectations and hopes to go far into the playoffsf, but it didn't turn out that way. In the third game of the season he injured his shoulder and was out for the rest of the year. Dolphins upcoming prospect, Chad Henne, filled in and did a great job going 7-6 after a 0-3 start by Pennington. Now after many though his career was over after a third shoulder surgery, Pennington wants to make a come back with the Miami Dolphins. In my opinion, there is no way that the Dolphins should let Pennington come back. Don't get me wrong he did a great job with the Dolphins young players and helping them rebuild, but I think his job is done. Chad Henne is our future and his the one that should be playing, not Pennington.
