Ronnie Brown had an electrifying start to the 2009-2010 season before suffering a fracture in his right foot midseason. He had surgery November 20 to repair a Lisfranc fracture in his right foot, but he’s still not running on it and he made a point of resting it. There has been some speculation that the Dolphins are thinking about putting him on the trading block for a 2010 first round pick, but I doubt that the Dolphins are willing to part with their best offensive player. For now, Ronnie is just focused on returning to form and setting himself up for even bigger and better things to come. He has missed 20 games in his five-year NFL career, including 16 total the past three years, which included a pair of season-ending injuries. Ronnie Brown is expecting to be ready by the time training camp starts, which is great news for the Dolphins. Ronnie Brown is looking foward towards a breakout 2010-2011 season since this will be the last season under contract with the Dolphins before he hits free agency. Hopefully we will not trade Ronnie and he can show everybody that he is healthy and have a great season.
